About Us

Our journey so far

Our story starts way back, when there was a need

See-Joy International Foundation was initially registered in August 2004 as See-Joy Foundation International with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization. Prior to our official listing with the government, the Foundation has had a burning desire to render help and assistance to the less privileged, the vulnerable and ‘the rejects’ of the society, especially widows, widowers, orphans, the poor, needy children, and people living with all forms of disabilities

The journey that commenced in 2022 has become a very challenging but rewarding experience for all of us. The Foundation was established in 2022 and was motivated by aneed to rescue a woman and ger children from the horror they experience immediately after the death of her husband and their father. The family could not take the corpse of their father to the mortuary due to lack if finance and assistance from family and friends, resulting in the family co-habiting with the dead body for two days in their one–room apartment. As soon as we were notified about the plight of this family, we moved swiftly to their rescue by providing the needed financial assistance to deposit the corpse in a nearby mortuary.

This case became the first official project and triggered the birth of the Foundation. Today, See-Joy International Foundation is better positioned and dedicated to bringing smiles to the faces of the world'”s most disadvantaged class of people by focusing on improving the lives of widows, widowers and all 0inclusive education for orphans
